About Joanne Zeis, Founder of Patient Pathfinders
Joanne Zeis is a Board Certified Patient Advocate who has dedicated 15+ years to helping people with chronic and rare diseases; she finds the specialists and evidence-based information that they need to move forward with treatment.
In 2006, she received the American Medical Association's highest national award for a non-medically-trained individual -- the Citation for Distinguished Service -- in recognition of her strong informational support for a rare disease population.
Joanne will never diagnose, treat, or provide medical or legal advice. She is a medical-information concierge, with expertise in online medical research and in plain-English translations of medical information.
Joanne is relentless in helping her clients reclaim a good life. Let Joanne and Patient Pathfinders uncover the facts, specialists, treatments and outcomes that can move you down the path to better health.
